James ‘Jim’ Curran Baxter (29 September 1939 – 14 April 2001)
Born in Hill of Beath, Fife, Jim Baxter was a Scottish football player who played in midfield for Raith Rovers, Sunderland, Nottingham Forest, Rangers, as well as for the national team. He is widely considered as one of the greatest football players to have ever played for Scotland.
