On 30 April 1965, these arms were matriculated in name of Roderick Hector Macdonald, OBE, of Pymble, New South Wales, Australia. Macdonald was a surgeon whose father was born on on the Isle of Benbecula and died in Brisbane, Queensland, in 1940.
